At Coker and Company, employee benefit plan services are our only focus and we are not limited to scheduling employee benefit plan audits during certain months of the year.
Angela Coker founded Coker and Company, LLC after 24 years with international and regional accounting firms, including 17 years practicing exclusively in employee benefit plan audit and consulting services. She has extensive technical knowledge and regularly advises Plan Sponsors on all aspects of employee benefit plans, including correcting operational errors. At her previous firm, she served as partner on more than 40 benefit plan audits annually, in addition to serving the following roles:
- Southeast Employee Benefit Plan Audit Leader
- Engagement Quality Reviewer for higher risk audits
- Member of Internal Inspection team for quality control
- Assisted in teaching, updating and reviewing annual firm training
Coker and Company audits defined benefit and defined contribution plans including 401(k), 403(b), and employee stock ownership plans, along with health and welfare plans. The firm’s employee benefit audit practice includes plans with asset sizes ranging from $4 million to $350 million.
