Audit Intern We are seeking a Summer Audit Intern to support our assurance team. This internship is designed for accounting students who are interested in public accounting and want meaningful exposure to audit procedures and financial statement preparation.

Location Huntsville, AL or Birmingham, AL
Hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week in the office (Birmingham or Huntsville), with remaining hours worked remotely. -
Hours and Dates Approximately 30 hours per week
Start Date: June 1, 2026
End Date: July 31, 2026 -
Key Responsibilities • Assist with audit engagements for 401(k) plans for private and public companies
• Perform audit testing and document workpapers under supervision
• Help analyze financial statements and supporting documentation
• Assist with internal control testing and audit procedures.

Qualifications • Accounting majors entering Junior or Senior year
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics -
